Portion sizes and pricing swing widely across this group, from a $10 lunch bowl to a multi-course tasting menu at an upscale sushi counter, so checking recent reviews and photos is more useful than the price range alone. In Jersey City, dinner reservations for popular izakaya, hot pot and Korean BBQ spots fill up on Friday and Saturday nights, so booking ahead or arriving at opening is worth it. Many restaurants across New Jersey run daily lunch specials on weekdays that are not listed on the dinner menu, so it is worth asking. Halal, vegetarian and gluten-free options vary a lot by kitchen; call ahead if you have a dietary restriction rather than assuming the menu will note it.

The business lists hours on 7 days of the week. The most common schedule is 8 am–4 pm. As with most places, expect changes around holidays; the phone number below is the fastest way to confirm. The listed phone number is (201) 656-0384. Many businesses also reply to text messages on the same number if it is a cell phone. More information is available on its website, facebook.com.

On Google it holds a rating of 4.3 out of 5 from 207 reviews, which is a strong result for a filipino restaurant in Jersey City and suggests consistent service.

Jersey City is in New Jersey, in the Northeast, where four distinct seasons shape local life: hot humid summers, snowy winters that can close businesses for a day, and a dense pattern of towns where walking, transit and street parking all matter. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and Jersey City follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

We came all the way from Brooklyn and would 100% come back again. It’s so hard to find good palabok with the thin noodles. When I broke through the palabok sauce to mix it, I almost cried seeing it was thin noodles. We had dinuguan, pepper steak and bangus sisig and of course halo halo. Everything was so delicious and tasted home made. The owner was so kind and sweet, she gave us chicken chicharron for our trek to Jersey City. Will definitely come back for the palabok alone!

We stopped at Little Quiapo while our visit to NJ/NY, the place is an authentic Filipino dish and amazing food. The Lugaw was amazing, complete with all the ingredients. The lechon kawali was just like in Manila. The couple attending to the store were extremely nice and very accommodating to our allergy to peanuts. I would go back on our next visit. Thank you Little Quiapo!

Little Quiapo is one of the true OG Filipino restaurants in Jersey City. They have been part of the community since the early ’90s, run by the same family for decades, and you can feel that history and authenticity the moment you walk in. The food is consistently excellent, but the palabok is the absolute best I have ever had. It is rich, flavorful, perfectly balanced, and packed with everything you want in a great palabok. The adobo is deeply savory, the dinuguan is rich and delicious, and the halo halo is the perfect finish to the meal. This is a warm, casual, family owned place with friendly service, generous portions, and incredible prices. Little Quiapo is not trying to be trendy. They are the originals, and they continue to serve some of the best Filipino food in the tri-state area.

No frills place. Had pork sisig that was amazing and not oily at all. The halo halo hit the spot too! Might have to go back again tomorrow! Food coma, here I come!

A lovely small Filipino restaurant serving the local community, please note it is cash only. Completely true to form and identical to the food I had when I was in Manila. Comfortable, kind, with remarkably delicious and fresh food. I tried the Tapa and Daeng na bangus as a big breakfast with calamansi juice. Entirely deserving of all 5 stars, and I'll be returning any time I'm in the area. Parking lot is available in front of the restaurant.
